Overview
This 8-day journey through Gujarat begins in Ahmedabad and takes you to the state’s most iconic spiritual, cultural, and natural attractions. The trip starts with a visit to Kevadia to witness the majestic Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue, followed by an evening light and sound show. You then travel to Bhavnagar, including a tide-dependent visit to the Nishkalank Mahadev Temple, located in the sea. In Sasan Gir, experience an exciting wildlife safari (or Devalia Park) in the last home of the endangered Asiatic lions. The spiritual leg of the journey continues at Somnath Jyotirlinga, Triveni Sangam, and then to Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. The tour moves on to Dwarka, a sacred city of Lord Krishna, including visits to Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirling, and Rukmani Temple. On the way back to Ahmedabad, stop at Jamnagar to witness the Bala Hanuman Temple, known for nonstop Ram dhun chanting since 1964. Finally, explore the architectural and historical gems of Ahmedabad like Akshardham Temple, Hatheesing Jain Temple, Gandhi Ashram, Sidi Sayed Mosque, and the stunning Adalaj Stepwell, before concluding your trip.
