Overview

This 6-day Little Rann of Kutch and Greater Rann of Kutch Tour offers a rich blend of cultural heritage, architecture, wildlife, and handicrafts of Gujarat. The journey begins in Ahmedabad with visits to Law Garden and the scenic Riverfront, followed by a drive through Patan to admire the intricate Rani ki Vav stepwell and traditional Patola silk weaving. In Modhera, marvel at the stunning Sun Temple before heading to the Little Rann of Kutch, known for its unique salt marsh ecosystem. The trip continues to Bhuj, where historic sites like Aina Mahal, Bhujodi craft village, and the serene Mandvi Beach with Vijay Vilas Palace await. A highlight is the excursion to Banni villages (Hodka, Ludiya, Dhordo), showcasing Kutch’s famous embroidery, beadwork, and mud artistry. The day ends with panoramic views at Kalo Dungar and the surreal beauty of the White Rann of Kutch. The tour concludes with a return drive to Ahmedabad, offering an unforgettable experience of Gujarat’s cultural and natural wonders.

This is to update you that just we came to know that now onward diesel vehicle is not permitted for to visit of Statue of Unity. The sightseeing can be done with the in house busses of Statue of Unity on SIC basis only.
Statue of Unity mentioned all services can be book through online only. If anyone service will sold out then guest can’t enjoy that service as there is not any offline system

Day 01 :

Arrives at Ahmedabad

Arrival at Ahmadabad, Meet to Greet and visit Law Garden Marker and River front area, O/N Stay at Ahmedabad.

Day 02 :

Ahmedabad – Patan – Modhera – Bajana (250kms)

Morning after breakfast proceeds to PATAN - Rani ki Vav (Step well). It was built by the Queen Udaymati the wife of Bhimdev during 11-12th Century. It is the most magnificent and spectacular step well and the best example of such architecture for water wells. The Vav measuring about 64 mts. The stepwell has long stepped corridor descending down to the underground tank, it is having four pillars. The Pillars which support the roof have squire base decorated with Ghat Pallavas. It was one of the largest and the most sumptuous structure of its type. Later visit Patan Patola of weaving, patan is Famous for patola weaving, Salvi family is one of them who has continued this traditional art and has preserved it even today. Patola silk is often termed as the queen of all silk. The special technique of the handmade silk patola uses the same special technique for weaving from raw silk to the completion of the patola fabric. The weaver makes the special patola loom and colouring from indigenous natural materials. Patola from the area of patan in the north Gujarat region of western India glorifies this heritage with its unique gem like qualities, gorgeous colours, designing & durability Different colour and pattern matched exactly on horizontal and vertical threads in weaving. The patola was traditionally woven in a sari length of 5 to 9 yards by 45” to 54” width. The range now extends to include tablecloth borders scarves handkerchief. Modhera Sun Temple, Modhera Sun Temple dates bake to early 11th centuary CE and was built by King Bhimdev I in 1026 CE. The temple at modhera is the most important of all sun temples built in the whole Gujarat. The temple is dedicated to the Sun God. The temple is magnificent and the finest example of the Hindus architecture in Gujarat. One of the most striking features of the Modhera Sun Temple that the first ray of the sun falls on the deity at the time of the equinoxes. In front of the temple is a colossal tank, which was once known as Surya Kund or Rama Kund.The tank has a series of the carved steps leading to the bottom. Later proceeds to Little Rann of Kutch. Day 03 :

Bajana – Bhuj (250kms)

Morning after breakfast driver to Bhuj and drive to Bhuj after fresh-up visit Aina Mahal is an 18^th century palace in Bhuj, Gujarat, India. It is located next to the Prag Mahal. The walls of the Palace are of White Marble covered with mirrors separated by gilded ornaments with shades of Venetian glass. (Visit to Sri Swami Narayan Temple & Aina Mahal is subject to its schedule timing) Bhujodi [Handicraft Village & Craft Park] O/N Stay at Bhuj.

Day 04 :

Bhuj – Mandvi – Bhuj

Today, proceed to explore the Beach of Mandvi. The white sand beach offers fun beach activities,

swimming in the cool water, or just relaxing by the seashore with some local snacks. Next, you will

stop at the famous Vijay Vilas Summer Palace, which is located right beside the beach and also

covers some of the Mandvi Beach. return from Mandvi, you will be taken to the 72 Jinalaya mandir, which is dedicated to 72 different

deris of Lord Vishnu. After Sightseeing return back to the Hotel for the night Stay. Overnight stay at

Bhuj.

Day 05 :

Bhuj – White Rann – Kalodungar – Bhuj

Morning after breakfast drive to Bhuj and visit Banni Village enroute take permit (Please all client to need to obtain the permit). to see various people like Jat, Harijan, Meghawal and Mutva etc in various villages like Hodka, Ludiya and Dhordo. Banni means “a cluster of village”. InBanni area of Kutch the Meghwal-Harijans who migrated from Rajasthan use Khambira, Kharek, Kudi Stiches in their embroidery. Also outline and satin stitch embroidery of the area and very minute mirror designs similar to the famous Mutwa embroidery of the area. They make wall hangings, waistcoats and pouches in Kharek Stich and do 'Moti Bharat' or beadwork on handheld fans, bracelets, toys and belts. After visit HODKA village – Hodka derives from the Gujarati word ‘Hodi’which means ‘boat’. Since, thevillages here are called jheels, where potable water is available. Hodka is famous for its beautiful embroidery and mud work as much as Leather craft. Both men and women are actively involved in developing the art and craft tradition of the region. Visit LUDIYA village- Harijans and Muslims are main communities in this village. The main occupations are: monsoon farming, cattle rearing, intricate wood carving, intricate embroidery work, mud-work and wall painting for decorating homes. Harijan men are involved with wood carving, the women take up embroidery and wall-decoration. Visits to DHORDO to see beautiful traditional mud houses (Bhungas) with mirror work and its fine Mutwa embroidery with tiny mirrors. Later visit Kalo Dungar & White Rann. O/N Stay at Bhuj

Day 06 :

Bhuj – Ahmedabad (400kms)

Morning after breakfast drive to Ahmedabad transfer to Airport /Railway station for onward journey.
