Itinerary
Your getaway to South America starts in Rio de Janeiro. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check-in on your own. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own.
Note: The standard check-in time at the hotel is 1500 hrs.
Today, we start our day by taking a cog-wheel train up to the Corcovado Mountain to visit the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer. Later, proceed on a guided city tour of Rio, drive through downtown Rio, passing by the Maracana Stadium, the Sambodrome and Metropolitan Cathedral. Later in the afternoon we visit the world-famous Sugar Loaf Mountain which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Get a unique experience in the cable car while going up to the mountain.
Today you proceed to enjoy a guided backstage tour of the Academics da Grande Rio– one of the leading samba schools of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Get to know, through an Explanatory Panel Presentation, about the history of samba and carnival parades. You will enter into the samba atmosphere, where costumes are available for dressing up and photographs, while enjoying a traditional welcome drink, the Caipirinha. Embark on an exciting backstage tour of Cidade do Samba, the impressive complex of workshops for Rio's world-famous Carnival. See where all the magic is created and get insight into the detailed processes that culminate in the planet's most vibrant street party. Be fascinated by the display of creativity that features a wide array of colorful, shiny and extravagant costumes used in the parades.
Later embark in a private Jeep for an exciting scenic drive along Rio's famous beaches and through the heart of the lush Tijuca Forest - the largest urban forest in the world. Stop at the Chinese View belvedere with a magnificent view of the Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf. During the tour, usually we can see tropical animals like monkeys’ sloths, and exotic birds. We also visit the famous Copacabana Beach and the downtown area.

Today, we will drive to the airport to board your flight to Iguassu. Iguassu is famous for its stunning falls. A total of 275 waterfalls make up the Iguassu Falls, which are the widest and most imposing waterfalls on earth. Later you will visit the 3 Borders Landmark which will be full of unforgettable surprises in the most charming place in Foz do Iguaçu. The place has a special energy of people, nations and cultures. The obelisk that marks the Brazilian border, the landmark of three countries, is an invitation to a centuries-old journey through Brazil and the continent.
Today, we take a trip to the Brazilian side of the falls. We walk along a narrow 1,500m. path and along with the catwalk that goes very close to the bottom of the Devil’s Throat, from where you will enjoy breathtaking views over the Brazilian side of the falls. Bird Park is an ecological sanctuary, linking ecotourism with conservation. Huge nurseries provide a basic understanding of some 900 birds, 150 species. Brazilian birds predominate, but there are species from Australia, Africa and Asia represented. Other attractions include a butterfly nursery with approximately 25 species of reptiles, where you can see snakes and alligators from just a few meters away. Later you get a chance to Experience unrivaled views of Iguassu Falls—one of the New7 Wonders of Nature—during a panoramic helicopter ride that reveals both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the waterfalls
Today, we visit the Argentinean side of the Iguassu Falls. We start with a short train ride that leads us to the trails. Later a walk along the catwalks, some 1200 meters over the islands, takes you to enjoy the most spectacular sight: the Devil’s Throat Fall. Later, we take a flight to Buenos Aires.
Today, proceed on a guided city tour of this beautiful city. See the symbol of this city: the obelisk on avenida 9 de Julio, visit Plaza de Mayo and Plaza San Martín. Drive through historical and elegant neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat, Palermo and Recoleta. Also see some important financial and commercial areas of the city.
Later in the evening you will be taken for the glamorous Tango Show with dinner - a musical extravaganza with poetical, entertaining and touching edges.
Today, proceed on half day excursion to Tigre Delta tour. Located only 30 km north of Buenos Aires, the city of Tigre is the gateway to the exotic delta of the Paraná River, a vast stretch of subtropical forest which holds thousands of small islets. Upon arrival we take you on Orientation tour of Tigre and later we visit to the magnificent Neo-Gothic Cathedral, built in the XIX century in San Isidro. Next, take a boat ride through the Delta, view the old mansions that contrast with today’s wooden houses built on pilings. Also, see yacht and rowing clubs and become acquainted with the typical lives of a population that evolved in community with the river. Later, we drive back to Buenos Aires. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
