• Pandemic-Related Measures:
• You have to follow the on ground rules and regulations of the country of your residence and the country you are visiting while entering, exiting and throughout your stay.Closed Sightseeing Due to Covid-19:
• For any paid activity that is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process a refund & the same should reach you within 30 days of processing. Also, for any activity which is complementary and not charged to MakeMyTrip & you, no refund will be processed.Travel Information:
• Your entry to the country is subject to the general entry requirements (e.g. travel documents and visa). You may be accompanied by your spouse, registered partner and children of minor age. If you are reliant on support, a carer or a helper may accompany you. These people are likewise subject to the general entry requirements.
• A printout or a screenshot of a travel check does not automatically entitle you to enter any country. You must be able to provide official documents to prove that you meet the entry requirements.Sightseeing & Transfers:
• All sightseeing tours start from a central location. Location details will be advised at the time of booking and will be mentioned in the handover vouchers given to you.
• You will have to reach the meeting point on your own. You need to report for the tour at the meeting point 30 minutes before departure. Make sure you carry all vouchers with you during sightseeing.Visa Information
• MakeMyTrip provides visa assistance only. Visa fees to be paid directly at the VFS centre
• Please note that the final decision regarding a visa application rests solely with the respective Embassy/Consulate.
• To travel to any international destination, your passport must have a minimum validity of 06 months from your planned date of return.
• Providing wrong passenger age may incur penalty at a later stage.
• Do check your flight status/schedule 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure, since airline schedules are subject to change without notice.
• While entering passenger names during the booking process, do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. passport) that you will be carrying for the trip.
• MakeMyTrip officials or representatives will NEVER ask you for your personal information i.e. your credit/debit card details, passwords, PIN, CVV, OTP etc. Please do not share these details with anyone over phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email or any other source.
• Our Visa experts will provide you with all the assistance you need regarding your Visa application from validating the documents to compiling them to present your case in the most appropriate way Travelers have to be present individually at the Visa Facilitation Service for biometrics verification, submission of documents and payment of Visa fees. In cases where the embassy/ Consulate may require meeting the applicant in person, you might need to appear at the Embassy for a personal interview in order to obtain your visa decision. In such cases you will be contacted by the respective embassy/VFS. We shall be able to extend our visa assistance to applicants residing in India Passports must have a total validity of 10 years and shall be valid till at least 6 months from the date of return during the time of travel. Please note that the passport booklet should have a minimum of 2 blank pages for official use. The visa decision by the Embassy/ Consulate is made on the basis of how they may ascertain the visa case of an applicant. The approval or rejection of visa is done at the sole discretion of the embassy
  
  
  Terms and Conditions

  • Please note that once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail as well as an SMS on your registered mobile number confirming your booking.   • Please expect to receive your vouchers 72 hours before your departure date (subject to full payment of your package cost).
  
  
  • Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you will be able to make changes to the itinerary/activity if you so desire.
  
  
  • The final payment will be calculated as per the activities reflecting on the website which will be outlined in the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.
  
  
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar etc., are not included.
  
  
  • Local City Taxes if any to be paid directly at the hotel.
  
  
  • In case your package needs to be cancelled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. MakeMyTrip shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
  
  
  • If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation e-mail, MakeMyTrip reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.
  
  
  • The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. MakeMyTrip will not bear any liability for the name change fee, if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
  
  
  • Please note that if your package includes a flight which is a low cost carrier (Air Asia, Scoot Airlines, Air Arabia, Jetstar, Fly Dubai, Thai AirAsia, Air India Express, Tiger Airways, Vueling, Iberia, easyjet, Wideroe,etc.) then baggage will not be included in the package. Baggage can be added as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airlines and destination.
  
  
  • Our Travel Expert will attempt to get in touch with you within 24-hours after the booking has been confirmed for baggage addition. Please ensure that baggage requirements are given to our Travel Expert latest by 5 days before the date of departure.
  
  
  • Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am.
  
  
  • An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
  
  
  • In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category.
  
  
  • Certain hotels abroad may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotels policy.
  
  
  • Please note that Day at Leisure essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day.
  
  
  • Kindly be on time for your activities, tours and transfers. Most countries are quite strict about following a schedule.
  
  
  • The package price does not include special dinner or mandatory charges at time levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. MakeMyTrip shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However MakeMyTrip may not have this information readily available all the time.
  
  
  • For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process refund & same should reach the guest within 30 days of processing the refund.
  
  
  • Also, for any activity which is complimentary and not charged to MMT & guest, no refund will be processed.
  
  
  • Visa is granted at the discretion of the concerned embassy. In case of rejection of Visa and subsequent cancellation of the booking, cancellation charges shall be applicable as per the cancellation policy provided.
  
  
  • MMT makes no representation that VISA will be granted or regarding chances of visa grant. Customers are requested to do their own due diligence regarding visa requirements, visa acceptance/rejection rates and other T&C of visas. All information in this respect is available on website of concerned embassy, VFS etc.
  
  
  • Booking shall be considered cancelled on the date the customer informs MMT in writing to cancel the booking.
  
  
  • The scope of visa assistance is limited to providing information regarding documents required for visa and providing reasonable assistance in application for visa. Visa assistance does not imply that MMT is providing any guarantee or representation that the visa will be granted.
  
  
  • TCS Conditions As per section 206CCA of Income Tax Act 1961, w.e.f. 01-Jul-21 onwards, TCS will be charged @10% on overseas tour packages in case you have not filed your income tax returns for two preceding years; and the aggregate TDS and TCS is each tax year is INR 50,000 or more. On validating the PAN if it is found that you have not filed your Income Tax Returns for two preceding years and aggregate TCS and TCS exceeds INR 50,000, an additional TCS @5% will be recovered from you or booking will get cancelled and cancellation charges will apply.
