Itinerary

Upon arrival welcome and assistance by our representative and transfer to Colombo hotel (01 Hour drive) Colombo- A cozy mixture of the past and present. The Portuguese, Dutch and British have all left in their wake churches and monuments, names and religions, costumes and food and smatterings of their languages which have been absorbed into the speech of the Sri Lankan.

Overnight stay in Colombo

After breakfast leave for Kandy (04 Hours’ drive). Enroute visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage where Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned and injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You want to walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in the water. Visit Spice & Herbal Garden Enroute Proceed to Kandy and check-in at the hotel

After breakfast, Enjoy Kandy city tour. While on your city tour you will visit one of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of the Tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankans as Dalada Maligawa. Visit the Gem Museum. Sri Lanka produces the finest quality of gems in the world. Semi-precious gems, the sapphires of Sri Lanka, which are very exclusive and come in shades of blue, red, green, white etc. Peradeniya Botanical Gardens is a paradise for nature lovers. This beautiful flower Eden is restored with over 300 different varieties of orchids, other spices, medicinal plants and Palm trees. Every year more than 1.2 million people are enchanted by the beauty of these 147 acre flower gardens.

Overnight stay in Kandy

After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya (02 hours) (Optional tour- Take a train ride from Kandy to Nuwara-Eliya,One of the most scenic train rides and straight arrive in Nuwara-Eliya station)-Train tickets subject to availability.

If not, drive from Kandy to Nuwara-Eliya and enjoy a visit to tea plantation and factory and Ramboda water falls visit Arrive at the hotel. In the evening, visit Gregory Lake for a walk and enjoy a boat ride.

Overnight stay in Nuwara-eliya

After breakfast proceed to Colombo (07 Hours’ drive). Optional tour- White water rafting on availability. Experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing will be given by our white-water rafting instructors beforehand. The distance covered is around 5 KMs. The river and its surrounding will make you feel enchanted, with a memorable Experience during your White-Water Rafting Tour in Kitulagala.

Arrive in Colombo and enjoy sightseeing including old parliament, Galle face green, pettah bazaar & gangarama temple.
