Health Condition:
Participants must be in good physical and mental health and have no serious medical history.
Pricing Policy:
Trip prices apply to Indonesian citizens only.
Foreign nationals are subject to an additional fee of IDR 500,000.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event of cancellation by the participant, both deposit and full payment are non-refundable.
Payment Deadline:
Full payment for the trip must be completed at least 6 days prior to departure.
Schedule Changes:
Trip schedules, departure times, and activities are subject to change due to weather or traffic conditions.
Marvelous Tours.id is not liable for such changes.
Price & Schedule Adjustments:
Prices and departure schedules may change at any time with prior notice.

Day 01 :

Arrival at Sumba

Welcome to Sumba! Upon your arrival at Tambolaka Airport, our guide will greet you and take you to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Your cultural journey begins with a visit to Rumah Budaya, where you’ll gain insight into Sumba’s fascinating history and heritage. From there, we’ll head to Lendongara Hill, known for its sweeping views and rolling green landscapes reminiscent of the Teletubbies hills. The day continues with a relaxing visit to Mananga Aba (Kita Beach), where you can swim, wade along the peaceful coastline, or simply unwind on the soft white sand. We’ll wrap up the day with dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 02 :

West Sumba – Day Tour

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you’ll embark on a full-day exploration of West Sumba’s natural and cultural gems. The journey begins with a visit to the traditional village of Ratenggaro, where you'll witness unique Sumbanese architecture and local heritage. From there, we’ll head to the scenic Pero Beach, known for its serene beauty and dramatic coastline. The highlight of the day is Lake Waekuri, a large and iconic brackish lake perfect for a refreshing dip or simply taking in the peaceful surroundings. The day concludes with dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for a restful night.

Day 03 :

West Sumba – Full Day Tour

The day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a full-day adventure exploring the natural wonders of West Sumba. Your first stop is Waikelo Sawah, a never-drying spring nestled in a natural cave, originally built for irrigation and hydroelectric power. The crystal-clear waters at the cave’s mouth form a serene pool perfect for sightseeing or a quick dip. Next, you’ll visit Marosi Beach, known for its striking rock formations—massive stones jutting into the sea and others seemingly embedded in the sand—creating a uniquely dramatic coastal landscape. The journey continues to Kerewei Beach, a perfect spot to relax and soak in the coastal beauty. The day concludes with dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for rest.

Day 04 :

West Sumba to East Sumba

After breakfast and hotel check-out, your journey continues from West Sumba to East Sumba, with exciting stops along the way. The first destination is Praijing Village, the most renowned traditional village in West Sumba, home to 38 iconic Sumbanese houses that showcase the island’s rich cultural heritage. From there, you’ll head to the majestic Lapopu Waterfall, the tallest waterfall in East Nusa Tenggara, offering breathtaking views and a refreshing natural atmosphere. The day continues with a visit to Wairinding Hill, a stunning viewpoint where you can admire sweeping savanna landscapes that turn golden in the dry season and lush green during the rains. Day 05 :

East Sumba – Full Day Tour

After breakfast, get ready for a full-day adventure exploring the natural and cultural beauty of East Sumba. Your journey begins at Tanarara Hill, a picturesque landscape of rolling grasslands, where you’ll also find a unique stone grave adorned with traditional Sumba carvings. Next, visit the enchanting Waimarang Waterfall, a 2-meter-high cascade that flows into a natural pool surrounded by high cliffs, creating a serene, swimming-pool-like setting. After soaking in the refreshing atmosphere, the tour continues with a visit to Sumba's souvenir centers—perfect for picking up memorable gifts. The day concludes at the iconic Walakiri Beach, where you’ll be greeted by rows of swaying coconut trees, soft white sand, and a stunning coastline framed by mangrove trees—one of Sumba’s best photo spots, especially at sunset.
